The Zurich University of the Arts and the University of Bern are seeking a PhD student (60%) to work on the SNSF project "Design History of the SBB" for a limited period of four years, starting 1 September 2022 or by agreement. The research project investigates the interaction of different design fields within a complex company. The subject of the research is the design of the Swiss Federal Railways SBB and its significant contribution to Swiss design history and to international railway design history.
