The author assumes no responsibility for the correctness, accuracy, timeliness, reliability and completeness of the information. Liability claims regarding damage caused by the use of any information provided, including any kind of information which is incomplete or incorrect, will therefore be rejected. Cookies

Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user's access device (e.g. PC or smartphone). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users. On the other hand, they are used to record statistical data on website use (e.g. sub-pages clicked on/visited) and to be able to analyse them for the purpose of improving the offer. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and especially the comfort of use will be limited without cookies.

How to disable cookies in the most popular browsers:

Google Analytics

Swiss Design Network uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. The IP address transmitted by the browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link. By using the Swiss Design Network website, you consent to the processing of data collected by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, audio files from Soundcloud, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is thus necessary for the presentation of this content. Swiss Design Network has no influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. It is also possible that third-party providers use cookies.

Contact

When contacting Swiss Design Network (for example, via submission form or e-mail), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise. Once the purpose of processing has been completed, all of the user's details will be deleted.

Adjustment of the privacy policy

Swiss Design Network reserves the right to adapt this data protection declaration at any time within the framework of the legal requirements.
