The HSLU is looking for a Vice-Director Research 100 %.

You are responsible for managing the Research department and the Design department and all related tasks, in particular for

• The technical and administrative management of the area of responsibility, including personnel management.
• Financial responsibility for the department's research and the degree programme.
• Participating in the further development of the department, the Design faculty together with the heads of degree programmes (BA Spatial Design, Object Design Textile Design and Design Management, International and MA Design) and research together with the heads of the Competence Centres.
• Representing the department within the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and externally.

As a member of the department management, you will be actively involved in strategy development and implementation, annual targets, the budget and annual financial statements, as well as the coordination and further development of the service areas. As Vice Director, you will contribute to the regional, national and international anchoring of the Lucerne School of Art and Design.
